小波伽辽金有限元法在梁板结构中的应用

本文给出了基于小波尺度函数展开的高阶导数及其在伽辽金有限元法中有关联的导数乘积积分的计算格式，从而实现了将小波伽辽金法用于求解高于二阶导数微分方程边值问题的数值计算，使其在结构力学问题求解中成为可能·数值算例表明：本方法具有良好的计算精度·     

Artin Algebras with Loops but No Outer Derivations

We construct families of Artin algebras over fields of arbitrary characteristic that contain a loop in their ordinary quiver but admit no nontrivial outer derivation. This refuses the long-held belief that such algebras should not exist.     

Additivity of n-Multiplicative Maps on Alternative Rings

Let ? and ?′ be alternative rings. We study the additivity of n-multiplicative isomorphisms from ? onto ?′ and of n-multiplicative derivations of ?. We prove that, if ? contains a family of nontrivial idempotents satisfying Martindale's conditions, then these two maps are additives.     

A Finite Separating Set for Daigle and Freudenburg's Counterexample to Hilbert's Fourteenth Problem

This article gives the first explicit example of a finite separating set in an invariant ring which is not finitely generated, namely, for Daigle and Freudenburg's 5-dimensional counterexample to Hilbert's Fourteenth Problem.     

Characterization of Lie Derivations on Prime Rings

Let ? be a unital prime ring with characteristic not 2 and containing a nontrivial idempotent P. It is shown that, under some mild conditions, an additive map L on ? satisfies L([A, B]) = [L(A), B] + [A, L(B)] whenever AB = 0 (resp., AB = P) if and only if it has the form L(A) = ?(A) + h(A) for all A ∈ ?, where ? is an additive derivation on ? and h is an additive map into its center.     

Characterization of Lie higher derivations on triangular algebras

Let $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ be unital rings, and $\mathcal{M}$ be an $\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ -bimodule, which is faithful as a left $\mathcal{A}$ -module and also as a right $\mathcal{B}$ -module. Let $\mathcal{U} = Tri\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{M},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ be the triangular algebra. In this paper, we give some different characterizations of Lie higher derivations on $\mathcal{U}$ .     

Characterizing centralizers and generalized derivations on triangular algebras by acting on zero product

Let U = Tri(A,M,B) be a triangular ring, where A and B are unital rings, and M is a faithful (A, B)-bimodule. It is shown that an additive map Φ on U is centralized at zero point (i.e., Φ(A)B = AΦ(B) = 0 whenever AB = 0) if and only if it is a centralizer. Let δ : U → U be an additive map. It is also shown that the following four conditions are equivalent: (1) δ is specially generalized derivable at zero point, i.e., δ(AB) = δ(A)B + Aδ(B) Aδ(I)B whenever AB = 0; (2) δ is generalized derivable at zero point, i.e., there exist additive maps τ1 and τ2 on U derivable at zero point such that δ(AB) = δ(A)B + Aτ1 (B) = τ2 (A)B + Aδ(B) whenever AB = 0; (3) δ is a special generalized derivation; (4) δ is a generalized derivation. These results are then applied to nest algebras of Banach space.
